Government Skills Australia has recently released two reports which should be of interest to public sector agencies and RTOs.
The Tertiary Sector Collaboration Report includes survey findings on the current status of articulation arrangements between VET and Higher Education providers related to the Corrections, Local Government, Public Safety, Public Sector and the Water sectors. The aim of the survey was to ascertain current and potential collaboration between tertiary institutions, identify some of the reasons behind current good practice and barriers to establishing collaborative partnerships and articulation arrangements.
Local Government Training Package research report — capacity, capabilities and challenges 2011 examines the current uptake of the Local Government Training Package (LGA04) and identifies the key issues impacting on its uptake.
