The Water Industry training package (NWP07) Version 2 is a resource designed specifically for enterprises and Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) that are responsible for the skills development of people working in water industry.
The NWP07 Version 2 includes six qualifications and 137 units of competency (excluding imported units). Government Skills Australia is currently working with the water industry to introduce continuous improvement changes to the NWP07 V2, with anticipated endorsement in April 2012.

- NWP40107 Certificate IV in Water Operations
- NWP50107 Diploma of Water Operations
- NWP70107 Vocational Graduate Certificate in Water Industry Leadership

Traineeships
Traineeships are pathways that combine work and structured training. New employees and existing workers can undertake a traineeship so long as they meet the eligibility criteria.
